  Scholarship Application                                                    


Thanks to a generous gift from Pacific Continental Bank, and support from the museum store, Past and Presents, the University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History is pleased to offer scholarships for school groups who wish to visit the museum during the 2016-17 academic year. 

Guidelines and Eligibility:

  • Funds awarded to K-12 classes visiting the museum during the 2016-17 school year
  • Schools must have at least 50% of students eligible for free or reduced lunch
  • Applications must accompany a program request and be submitted two weeks before the desired program date
  • Scholarships and program dates are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Scholarship funds pay for roundtrip bus transportation (up to $100) and/or admission to the museum
  • Schools arrange transportation and the museum pays the bus company directly
  • Bus invoices must be received within 90 days of the visit date. If an invoice is not submitted within 90 days the funds may no longer be available.
  • The Education Coordinator will review scholarship applications
  • Applicants will be notified by email or phone within one week of submitting the application
