Ruth D. Keele earned a B.A. in History at the University of Texas in Austin, later completing her Master's degree in Public Affairs at the University of Oregon. She now serves as UO Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, working closely with academic programs and curriculum, policies and information resources for faculty, and faculty recognition. Ms. Keele worked previously in Strategic Programs and Planning for the Oregon University System. In her role as liaison to the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, she looks forward to strengthening the rich intersections between the museum and the academic mission of the University.
