Seeing Time - Geologic Clues to the Ancient Earth

January 16 - June 14, 2009

Earthquakes. Volcanoes. Massive floods. Glaciers.

The exhibit Seeing Time, explores the results of some of Earth’s most powerful natural phenomena and reveals clues to the incredible age of Earth. Rocks tell stories—and through UO geologist Marli Miller's photographs, rock and mineral specimens, and hands-on activities, museum visitors learn ways to investigate and understand the geological landscapes of our ancient Earth.
