Photographs from the Archaeology Field School

Photographs from the Archaeology Field School
On view through Sunday, November 18
The museum has led summer field schools in Oregon since the 1930s, providing students with hands-on experiences in archaeology—and dirty, dusty science adventures that make lasting memories. In summer 2018, museum archaeologist Dennis Jenkins led a six-week field school at the Connley Caves, a site containing artifacts up to 13,000 years old. The field school students captured their adventures in photographs. Explore them in this new hallway exhibition.
