Take a "road trip" through the American West to discover the fossils in our midst and the stories they tell about evolution, extinction, and life on earth! This exhibit combines fossils from the museum's collection with the whimsical works of celebrated artist Ray Troll. The featured prints and murals - on loan from the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture at the University of Washington - were created for the book Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway, co-authored by Troll and Paleontologist Kirk Johnson.
Join us on Friday, September 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., for a reception and book signing event with the artist. The event is free and open to the public.
