SUSHI SOCIETY—Registration Closed.
Learn about sushi's origins and its place in society as a modern dining experience. Demonstration includes rolling methods, ingredient preparation, cutting technique, and proper condiments. Participants will create thier own rolls and enjoy edamame, wakame salad, green tea, and a glass of beer or wine. $35 per person; $30 for MNCH members.

APRIL 27

THE CUISINE OF MALI
Explore the staples and regional differences of Mali cuisine. Demonstration includes spice identification, spice preparation, and cooking methods for rice and grains. Participants will taste various grains, regional sauces, and sweet sesame bites-- and take home a special package of rice and grains. Workshop cost includes a glass of wine or beer. $35 per person; $30 for MNCH members. 

MAY 24
6:00 p.m. 
SPICES OF INDIA
Explore regional differences, religious influences, and the modern dining experience of Indian cuisine. Demonstration includes spice identification and preparation, flavor extraction, marinades, rubs, and cooking methods. Participants will make a recipe of Saag Paneer, a classic spinach and cheese dish. Appetizers and a glass of beer or wine are included, and each participants gets a package of Garam masala spices to take home. $35 per person; $30 for MNCH members.
