Digitizing Collections
Collections Division staff and students continue work on a major project to produce multiple and detailed digitized images of our Native American basketry collections. The museum plans to continue and broaden this effort, as electronic and Internet technology now allows us to provide unparalleled access to many parts of our holdings that are of great public interest. The digitization project is part of our new push to make the UO Museum of Natural and Cultural History truly “a museum of all the people” that will serve constituents throughout Oregon and the world beyond.
