"A slide show" seems a weak description of the power of audio and visual media to communicate ideas. When used with creativity and imagination, the still camera and audiovisual recorder combined with innovative presentation techniques, can produce a vehicle that communicate, not only information, but also moods and feelings.

Page Description: Preserving Sights and Sounds of Oregon the Don Hunter Legacy: Don Hunter, photographer and founder of the University of Oregon Audio and Visual Center, has been recording the sounds and images of the Pacific Northwest, Oregon, and Eugene since the 1930s. Mr. Hunter owns a vast collection of Oregon audio recordings and Oregon slide photography that encompasses Oregon's natural and cultural history of the 20th century.
