Page Description: Preserving Sights and Sounds of Oregon the Don Hunter Legacy: Don Hunter, photographer and founder of the University of Oregon Audio and Visual Center, has been recording the sounds and images of the Pacific Northwest, Oregon, and Eugene since the 1930s. Mr. Hunter owns a vast collection of Oregon audio recordings and Oregon slide photography that encompasses Oregon's natural and cultural history of the 20th century.
